In a new South African viral video, snippets of President Jacob Zuma have been crafted to look like he’s singing Elton John’s “sorry seems to be the hardest word.”

We’re not entirely sure why the News channel (who also owns Huffpost SA) commissioned to make the parody video but with over 50 000 views in less than 2 days, the hilarious video has found itself on the top South African trending list.

The video takes snippets of President Zuma and edit’s them to make it look like he’s singing Elton John’s “sorry seems to be the hardest word.”

“At this point, it seems unlikely President Jacob Zuma will say “sorry” for firing former finance minister Pravin Gordhan, thereby plunging the country into junk status.”

“He’ll probably not say “sorry” for flouting the constitution with his Nkandla upgrades.”

“South Africa, in all likelihood, won’t get an apology for state capture.”

“The closest SA may get, is this parody of the president singing Elton John’s Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.”
