The Ndlovu Youth Choir reshared their music video for “We Will Rise” on Sunday before the national family meeting to inspire hope in South Africa.

South Africa (01 July 2021) – The Ndlovu Youth Choir shared their “We Will Rise” music video to Facebook on Sunday prior to the president’s speech to send a message to South Africans. They wanted us all to know that no matter what happened, we would all be able to rise.

The vibrant Ndlovu Youth Choir captured the hearts and minds of all South Africans and the world as they reached the final of America’s Got Talent in 2019 with their soul-stirring performances and they keep bringing all the feels.

The Choir released a music video for “We Will Rise” in February – their first original song which debuted with their album in July 2020. The song was originally a tribute to South African artists struggling through the economic lockdowns but it is an anthem that has been adopted by South Africa as a whole.

Since sharing the video again on Sunday, hundreds of South Africans have been commenting, thanking the choir for inspiring them to keep going.

‘We’ll get through this, We’ve been through so much more, Keep the faith, singalong tomorrow will come, Be strong be brave together We Will Rise!’

Take a look at the music video below.
