petrol attendants

A video showing petrol attendants performing a flash mob is everything that is right in South Africa. It’s fun, energetic and proudly South African!

South Africans love a good video about South Africans, so it is no surprise that in just one weekend this Engen Friday Flashmob video has become extremely popular.

The video showcases two petrol attendants dancing in front of all the cars being filled up. After a moment or two, the rest of the petrol attendants join in and put on a stellar performance.

This feel-good video showcases the fun-loving spirit of South Africa! These talented men went through the effort of using their off time to practice the choreographed dance just so they could entertain the men and women topping up their cars.

One of the viewers said that this was their kind of petrol station and we agree! We love that people in SA can have fun at their jobs, that is what makes all the difference!

Dit maak my torts om n Suid Afrikaaner te wees. Pragtig!” (This makes me proud to be a South African. Beautiful!) – Chantelle Scheepers

“They do more than just fill up and check your oil, sometimes they make you smile as well” – Frederik Dreyer

This is what makes Africa so unique. The motherland just speaks through us all! I love this… I was gonna say this is so lit but eish phela we don’t want to say that at the petrol station” – Kevin Fraser

Watch the video below, we hope it gets you in the Monday spirit!
