The Reddford House Northcliff has celebrated a historic moment at the school by selling out their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Johannesburg, South Africa (27 October 2021) – Many schools spend the year preparing for their annual productions. This year, Reddford House Northcliff put on a stellar performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a musical comedy with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story is based on the “coat of many colours” story of Joseph from the Bible’s Book of Genesis.
The production was such a success that it made school history by selling out all three nights.
“Reddford House Northcliff’s production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DREAMCOAT’ rocked the world of all our students, parents and teachers. Energetic performers were met by even more energetic and excited audience members.
Three completely SOLD OUT performances saw the audiences leap to their feet in standing ovations! What sheer joy this production was. What can we possibly do to top this?”
The entire production was a success, from the singers and dancers to the actors and actresses. Not only the performances within the spotlight but behind the scenes, staff and students worked tirelessly.
