South African Airways recently posted a question on Twitter and social media gave them the answers but we don’t think it was exactly what they were looking for.
What are some of the things you think about when looking out the window on a long flight?
That was the question South African Airways (SAA) posted on the 23rd of July 2017 on Twitter but we’e guessing their community manager never expected the onslaught of honest replies.

Some users responded by asking about the bailouts while others mentioned Duduzile Cynthia Myeni (Dudu), who is the chairperson of South African Airways SOC Limited (SAA) since January 2015.
“SAA bailouts year on year .. Makes me wonder why cause it’s not a cheap airline..”
“How many job applications has the person running the flysaa Twitter account submitted in the last week?”
“How long Dudu is going to spend in jail”
“I think about how much more useful my tax $$$ would be if it benefited the people of SA rather than just the corrupt leadership of SAA + ANC”
I look at the homeless and shack dwellings and think about how many homes could have been built with SAA bailout billions. https://t.co/KOZgkG2Ta2

I think about how SAA is stealing money from the poor. How come their flights are so expensive but they don't make profit? Useless carrier

I think how R16bn government guarantees could have been used to provide basic services for the poor.
