A series of funny hypothetical questions from Siya Kolisi’s little sister, Liphelo, uncovered the rugby star’s thoughtful and protective nature.
South Africa (29 August 2024) – It’s always so wholesome to see a different side to our local heroes and icons and this time Springbok captain Siya Kolisi’s sister, Liphelo Kolisi revealed a charming and affectionate side to her big brother.
Having a big brother is like a built-in best friend who has known you all your life and is there to protect you, teach you and laugh with you while sharing life’s challenges and adventures.
In a now-trending TikTok video, the two siblings engaged in a series of hypothetical questions, offering a glimpse into their bond and Siya’s thoughtful and protective nature.
Liphelo started off strong, asking how Siya would react to her stealing his car and selling it to buy clothes for herself and her friend. Initially taken aback by the unexpected question, Siya responded that he’d be very upset.
Liphelo went on to ask what he’d do if she came back home with a tattoo, answering that he’d have a sit down with her about it even though he was pretty sure she’d never do that – to which Liphelo giggled before eventually agreeing.
She went on to ask about what he’d do if she needed to be picked up somewhere at 3am, came home drunk, snuck a boy into his home, dated a guy he didn’t approve of or secretly got married at 18.
With nervous giggles in between, Siya’s responses were pretty calm and fair, painting a picture of the thoughtful and protective big brother he is to his little sister. Urgh, it’s the feel-good content we all love to see!
