11 babies would be unaffordable… but the new Nando’s meal is priced just right!

Johannesburg, South Africa (29 August 2021) – Nando’s has done it again, this time with a hilarious advert featuring a couple from the Ekurhuleni who had 11 babies… that cannot be found!

“There’s fake news everywhere, heh Jessica we are live. Just get our new Prego & Chips for R49, and it won’t leave you feeling Pietrayed.”

A new Nando’s product means a new Nando’s TV ad to go with it. This advert (like all of them) is expected to prick the balloon of the current status quo. It’s a timely reminder we can’t afford to fall for anything that will lighten our pockets. But we can afford the new Nando’s Prego and Chips for R49, no scam, just nje.

“This campaign was brave, smart and very funny. I was most excited about the scripts because they had a real backstory. Given that they are inspired by actual events, figuring out how to stay true to the story while still making it my own was an interesting process. I really like that not everything is revealed in the first viewing. There are so many layers to each commercial, so the more you watch the spots, the more you pick up on,” Jabu Nadia Newmann, Director of the new Nando’s advert.
