Cape Town, South Africa (12 December 2024) – A Cape Town woman had her phone out at just the right time when she managed to capture the sweetest moment when two Good Samaritans helped a family of geese cross a busy road.
In the TikTok video which has since warmed many hearts online, Gina Rae Bennett filmed an unnamed woman and man get stopped in their tracks after noticing a family of geese – what appeared to be two parents and several chicks – trying to navigate a busy road with cars driving by in the Mother City.
The pair are seen carefully guiding these precious creatures away from the traffic and onto a nearby pavement and even prompting motorists to slow down, ensuring each bird made it across safely.
The moment has served as an unexpected yet beautiful reminder that there really is still some goodness in this world. Gina fittingly captioned the post:
