A group of teachers from St Charles College had tons of fun recently after receiving a donation of large cardboard boxes; they hilariously pranked everyone!
Pietermaritzburg, South Africa (06 June 2023) – The teachers at St Charles College recently had full belly laughs thanks to the donation of large cardboard boxes. Their funny antics go to show that you are never too old for a good prank and that laughing with colleagues is the best kind of way to spend the day!
A very large donation of boxes was sent to the school and they were the perfect size for the Pre-Primary School, also known as “Scrummies”, teachers to hide in. Teachers Chantelle Steenkamp and Kemsleigh Coutts did all the pranking and the Head of our Pre-Primary School, Liesl Meter, got other teachers and staff to casually walk past the boxes.
The boxes served as the perfect way for everyone to have a proper laugh. They filmed the entire day’s activities and shared it online for the parents to have a laugh too. Parents and school supporters have been loving the footage, many saying they watched it more than once.
When the teachers were done having their fun, the boxes went to the pupils who were encouraged to use their imaginations, building forts or whatever their hearts desired.
“The boxes were intended for the boys to use for open-ended play and to encourage them to use their imaginations. After the teachers had their fun, the boys have been making such good use of the boxes – they have been sliding down the hills in our garden, painting and drawing on the boxes to decorate them and have been making cars and houses.
These boxes have definitely brought much joy over the past few days!!!” – Tayla Penton, St Charles College, Communications
