There’s a shared love for ice cream – one that transcends seasons, borders, and cultures. That’s why one day every year Uber brings the ice cream to you – no matter where you are.
It’s that time of year again – #UberIceCream is coming to YOU on Friday, 15 July 2016!
Over a million people in 400 cities around the world will take part, with Australia to kickstart the global ice-cream feeding frenzy with a local flavour. Fifteen countries around the world will be able to order ice cream on demand this Friday July 15 and South Africa is one of them!
It’s the fifth year that the ride-sharing app has delivered ice cream, and this time they’ve teamed up with ice cream brand, Magnum, to deliver premium and indulgent ice cream bars in your city.
How does it work?
- If you haven’t used Uber before, download the Uber app and create an account.
- Open the Uber app on Friday, 15 July, between 11am – 3pm.
- Set your location and request the “Ice Cream” option.
- If successful, your account will be charged R100 and 4 delicious ice creams will be delivered to you within minutes.
We all scream, for ice cream but now all you need to do is push a button!
