Stoof and Stoffel Ys Ys Baba

Two South Africans who call themselves Stoof and Stoffel have released a hilarious music video for their brand new hit ‘Ys Ys Baba’.

All right stop, collaborate and listen… 2 very funny South Africans are back with a brand new invention.

If you think this all sounds quite familiar, it is due to the fact that original song was done by Vanilla Ice in 1990.

The Afrikaans chorus may not have the same ring to it as “Ice Ice Baby,” but the rap performance is both hilarious and entertaining.

The song was originally written by American rapper Vanilla Ice and DJ Earthquake in 1991 before it took the world by storm.

Afrikaans rap music has recently gained popularity through artists like Mr Devious, Jack Parow and Die Antwood.

Dubbed “Ys Ys Baba” – this cover is performed by the nunchuck-wielding Afrikaans duo known as Stoof & Stoffel. The song has already racked up over 65,000 views on YouTube.

And as the duo say… “Hou jou ballas vas”.

Watch the funny rendition below…
