Calling all baking enthusiasts wanting to do some good with their skills; Cancer Survivors Day is the 6th of June, and you can bake to raise funds for Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer.
South Africa (26 May 2021) – Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer does incredible things, all thanks to hosting bake sales around South Africa. For International Childhood Cancer Day, Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer raised over R725,000 by hosting cupcake sales.
Cupcakes of Hope is Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation dedicated to raising funds to assist not only the financial and emotional needs of the children with cancer and their families fighting the disease. The organisation also helps drive awareness about early cancer detection in children through the love of baking.
They have launched their second ‘Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer’ fundraising initiative for 2021 and are encouraging South Africans to put on their aprons and bake cupcakes for charity.
Volunteers host cupcakes Of Hope fundraisers throughout the year in a wide variety of formats. The funds raised enable the charity to assist about 100 children every month by paying for their medical or day-to-day expenses. As they like to say, this is by far the SWEETEST way to help save a life.
The 6th of June is Cancer Survivors Day, and they are inviting all our Cupcake Angels to celebrate their cancer Heroes in June by hosting an awareness and fundraiser in their honour.
“With this event, we want to give HOPE to the newly diagnosed, SUPPORT those who are currently on treatment and CELEBRATE those who have beaten cancer.

Step 3: Bake your delicious cupcakes and ask friends to make an R10/R20 donation per cupcake. You can also host a Mini Pop Up at your work, neighbourhood or child’s school and help spread Cupcake Love across South Africa.
