The holiday spirit was alive and well at the VUSA Rugby and Learning Academy in Langa, as 180 primary school children were treated to a magical Christmas celebration.

Langa, South Africa (03 December 2024) – From the sparkles to the sweet treats and spoils, the magic of Christmas is in full swing! One hundred and eighty primary school children from the VUSA Rugby and Learning Academy in Langa were treated to a magical Christmas celebration.

The event, organised by the caring Bishops Diocesan College community, was a heartwarming display of compassion and the joy of giving.

According to VUSA, parents from Bishops play an active role, setting up and running activity stations for the children, while the Grade 5 boys add their creative touch by decorating personalised gift bags.

When individuals with the means to improve the lives of the less fortunate do so, remarkable things happen. The event wouldn’t be possible without the generous contributions of various corporate partners who provided food, drinks, transport, treats, and toys for the children whose happy faces spoke volumes!

“This collaboration is a beautiful example of how individuals, families, and businesses can come together to create something truly special for children,” said Nikki Matthews, COO of VUSA.

“We’re deeply grateful to all our sponsors and supporters for making this day unforgettable for the children we serve.”
