GoodLuck

GoodLuck joins the Ultra family which includes Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, KYGO and many more. Making South Africans proud!

South Africa (30 March 2017) – The big news is finally out for live electronic trio GoodLuck! The band, who are currently touring and writing in the USA have just signed their first global record deal with Ultra Music Records in the States and Sony B1 Recordings in Germany joining some of the world’s dance music elite alongside Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, KYGO to name a few.

Consistently blowing listeners away with their live shows, ease of production and inspired pop style, GoodLuck is set to release ‘I’ve Been Thinking About You’ to the world on March 31st. The track, already a huge hit here at home in South Africa with a #1 on the radio in 2016, will be released alongside a pacey dance floor remix from Girls Love DJs & Boris Smith. Ultra Music Records had this to say,

‘’GoodLuck are something of a phenomenon in South Africa, having clocked up 8 chart Number 1’s in the past four years and amassed over 4 million Spotify plays of their ground-breaking, multi-instrumental sounds. ‘I’ve Been Thinking About You’ combines sublime vocals with subtle, progressive drums and piano chords – playing with offbeat rhythms and electronic samples as it gathers intensity.’’

International Management, Row Weber & Marcello Pagin said,

“Working in the entertainment industry for more than 19 years I know when we have something special. This project will make waves beyond Cape Town and South Africa. Glad they chose us to be part of this ride. GoodLuck’s performance is one that has opened the proverbial Pandora’s box on what audiences around the world will be demanding in years to come. Electronic music has never felt more real.”

The signing ushers in a new era for GoodLuck, while remaining close to their roots, the band moves onto the global stage ready for 2017 as a local electronic act pushing the boundaries across the world!
