What better way to spend a sunny Joburg Winter’s day than with good music, good food and good friends… all dressed up for a good cause.

GROUND is excited to announce the third edition of their popular “Off the Ground” event on the 1st of July 2017!

This time however, they are adding a festive twist… “Off the Ground Xmas in July” is set to be the most fun winter event in Jozi this year. With a stellar line-up including Mango Groove, Rubber Duc, Majozi and Bad Peter, Xmas is definitely coming early this year!

“What sets this event apart is not only the fantastic line-up and the exquisite venue, but the fact that it’s all about the Xmas spirit! Jozi normally empties out over December and so the City of Gold is not known for getting into the swing of things…”

“We’re planning to change all of that. The event this year is a dress up!”

“And in the true festive spirit of giving, we are partnering with the Twitter Blanket Drive to relieve the winter chill for those in need.” Say the organisers.

What could be better than resurrecting the spirit of giving, the season of goodwill and doing it in July?

This is a family friendly and trendy event, bringing together friends and family under the gorgeous pecan nut plantation at The Tobacco Shed at Ground.

Running from 11am to 10pm, it caters to every festive need with lifestyle brands, food stalls and entertainment to set your sleigh bells ringing!

This is also a chance to get together with the friends one might not normally get to see over the holidays… “Off the Ground Xmas in July” is offering special group chill areas, which include a designated seating area for between 10 and 15 people, Christmas Accessories, a Bottle of Bubbly and a Bucket of Beers!
