The Smile Foundation has been featured in a beautiful video about a mother’s love for her daughter and her drive to protect her from the world, showing her only the good things.
There is no doubt in the world that South African agencies produce some of the most emotive adverts out there. How many times have you watched an advert on TV and cried? We have lost count!
Just recently, we wrote a story about an NSRI advert that brought us to tears and now there is another one about the Smile Foundation.
These charities are being honoured with incredible artistry and the public really is moved by the work these directors and agencies bring to the table.
The Public Service Announcement (PSA) shows a mother’s unwavering love and her ability to protect her child from harmful people all the while, only showing her the good in the world.
If you would like to find out more about the Smile Foundation, see their website here.
“The Smile Foundation is a South African non-governmental organisation with a comprehensive health care vision for children living with facial conditions. Together with the country’s Academic Hospitals work together to put the smile back onto children’s faces with corrective facial reconstructive surgery and treatments.”
The PSA was directed by Dani Haynes from the Egg Films based in Cape Town. Her take on a mother’s love is poetic and really makes the ad meaningful.
