The NSRI created a beautifully moving tribute video to the heroes that give up time with their families and risk their lives to save others.
For some time now the advert has been featured on some of the lifestyle channels on DSTV. We first saw the advert and bawled our eyes out. It is an incredibly moving video showing how important sea rescue is.
It also showcases what these heroes give up to save the lives of others. The advert comes on quite often and we sob every single time. It hits you right in the heart and makes you feel so much love.
It shows a bride delivering a wedding speech about her absent father as he heads out into a stormy Cape ocean on a rescue mission.
The advert was created by Ogilvy Cape Town and directed by Greg Gray of Romance Films. It is a world class advert that really highlights the dedication of volunteers in the organisation.

I love the advert and the background music goes along perfectly with the message delivered….every time it plays i drop what i am doing to sock myself in the call to humanity to serve the world in whatever way possible…i now watch channel 100 as it is played more often there….Lets make the world a better place…..
