Set ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi is going to be one huge adventure!

 

Global (10 March 2022) – Hey Star Wars fans, the trailer for the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series just dropped, and it looks epic!

Set ten years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), the series is written by Joby Harold and directed by Deborah Chow.

“The Jedi Master contends with the consequences of his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his one-time friend and apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”

Ewan McGregor executive produces and stars as the title character, reprising his role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse also reprise their roles from the prequel trilogy.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will be streaming exclusively on Disney+, which hits South African screens “this Winter”.
