British actor Tom Hopper is currently road tripping through South Africa, and his adventure looks epic; he is helping people fall in love with our country.


Garden Route, South Africa (14 February 2022) – Tom Hopper recently started a road trip from Cape Town to the Garden Route, South Africa and fell even more in love with the country. He is sharing a few clips of his stay on Instagram and his fans are loving it!

Tom Hopper is an actor from the UK known for his roles in The Umbrella Academy, Game of Thrones and the latest, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

Tom Hopper recently arrived at one of his favourite places in the world, Cape Town. Tom first fell in love with Cape Town when he worked on the series Black Sails, playing the role of Billy Bones. Black Sails was filmed in Cape Town for four seasons, with a total of 38 episodes. Tom featured in a total of 34 episodes, meaning he spent some quality time in the Mother City!

Returning to the Mother City this year, he is driving from Cape Town along the Garden Route in an iconic Harley Davidson with his friend. The guys highlight some beautiful parts of the Western Cape, and we cannot get enough!
