The Drakensberg Boys Choir is standing up against poaching… and raising much-needed funds in the process!
Drakensberg, South Africa (28 November 2022) – The Drakensberg Boys Choir has just released a new song against poaching and it’s giving us all the feels!
The mission of the Drakensberg Boys Choir School is to prepare young men for life and leadership through excellence in music, academics, physical development and social enrichment.
Through song, these young South Africans are fighting for change.
Their most recent release – Elephant Charge – was written while on tour in Zambia. The choir saw the first-hand impact that poaching has on our wildlife. The song was released to raise awareness and bring to light the incredible work being done by Game Rangers International that raises these orphaned Elephants with the intention of releasing them back into the wild.
