Lost Dog "Frost" Found and Reunited With His Family After 2 Years!

The moment Hidaaya laid eyes on Frost, his beloved furry companion who had gone missing during a house robbery, an indescribable wave of emotion washed over him; filling a void that he had been forced to live with for two years.

Cape Town, South Africa (28 October 2024) – Few words can truly capture the profound bond between a furbaby and its owner.

For the Tape family, this bond was tested to its limits when their beloved white angel, Frost, vanished during a traumatic house robbery.

Of all the things they lost, Frost left a void the family couldn’t fill, shares the Cape of Good Hope SPCA.

“Despite their tireless efforts to locate him, their search led nowhere. Even after moving from South Africa to the United States, Hidaaya Tape never stopped worrying about him and hoped that because Frost was microchipped they would one day be reunited.”

Just as Hidaaya was preparing to return to South Africa recently, he received the most astonishing news: Frost had been found! The lost dog had miraculously made his way to the SPCA at the perfect timing too! Talk about stars aligning.

While no one knows the full story of Frost’s two-year journey, what mattered was that he had finally found safety—and landed in the hands of a team dedicated to reuniting him with his family.

A video shared online captured Hidaaya and Frost’s emotional reunion after years apart. Thankfully, it didn’t take Frost long to recognise his best friend.
