Encanto

The Disney movie Encanto has been taking the world by storm since its release in November 2021; the Ndlovu Youth Choir recently shared a cover of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”.

Limpopo, South Africa (22 February 2022) – The Ndlovu Youth Choir recently shared a cover of Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”. Encanto is taking the world by storm for its inspiring story and music.

If you have not seen Encanto yet, it is about a young woman named Mirabel. Her family fled Columbia 50 years earlier during an armed conflict and entered a magical realm where they lived safely. Over the years, each family member was blessed with various gifts. The only one who has no gift, is young Mirabel.

Mirabel starts to notice the house developing cracks and her family’s magic wavering, so she tries to warn them. She ventures off to find a way to help save the magic of her family and an adventure of magical proportion unfolds.

The Ndlovu Choir was established in January 2009 to afford talented, underprivileged teenagers and young adults (14-24 years) the opportunity to perform locally and abroad proficiently. The choir consists of 30 choristers from the beautiful Moutse Valley in rural Limpopo, South Africa.

The Ndlovu choir is part of the Ndlovu Care Group’s globally acclaimed childcare community programme. The choir aims to ensure that a child from a disadvantaged community enjoys the same level of tuition, care and opportunities as a child from a more affluent society.

Since their rise to fame, the choir has left many South Africans with smiles and pride. Their performances are fantastic! Take a look at the “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” cover below.
