Nkosi Ndebele extended his unbeaten PFL run with an impressive debut international victory in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C USA (27 July 2026) – Nkosi Ndebele’s arrival on the global stage couldn’t have gone much better.

The South African mixed martial artist announced himself in style by defeating American Brandon Davis via unanimous decision, proving that his success in Africa was only the beginning.

Just months after being crowned the inaugural PFL Africa Bantamweight Champion, the Diepsloot-born fighter stepped into a much bigger spotlight and left with his unbeaten PFL record intact.

The build-up wasn’t without its challenges. Ndebele’s opponent changed just weeks before fight night, but it was nothing new for the South African, who remained focused on the task at hand.

The bout itself was a true test. While Ndebele found early success, Davis refused to back down, forcing the South African to adjust his game plan instead of chasing a quick finish.

“When you hit someone with all you got, and they keep standing up, and you continue doing the same thing, and you expect different results, it’s not gonna work. It will end up burning you.”

The victory marks another significant milestone in what has become a remarkable rise for Ndebele, whose journey from South Africa’s local MMA scene to the global stage has inspired many aspiring fighters back home.

“PFL Global is where I belong and I needed to prove that. Being able to represent African talent and prove that African MMA talent can make it on the global stage feels amazing. Brandon Davis was a formidable opponent and it was a great fight.”
