The Billboard Music Awards kicked off on Sunday night with a performance by Britney Spears, who staged a sweeping medley of songs from her nearly two decades as a pop superstar.

She eschewed her earliest hits—like “Oops!… I Did It Again” and “…Baby One More Time”—in favor of somewhat later work. The centerpiece of the set was a bawdy rendition of “I’m A Slave 4 You,” which she released in 2001.

Spears was there to receive the Billboard Millennium Award, a lifetime achievement prize of sorts that has only been given to two artists before her—Beyonce in 2011 and the late Whitney Houston in 2012.

Live awards shows have always been a bit of a risky proposition for Spears since her disastrous 2007 VMAs appearance, but she was at the top of her game Sunday.

Slate seem to be the only website carrying the full performance, so click here to see the entire thing.
