A photo of Chad Le Clos and Caster Semenya at the 2018 Commonwealth Games is everything that is right with South Africa!

 

Many news headlines show division between South Africans but its the pictures and moments that don’t make headlines that really show the real South Africa, and how incredible we are when we work together.

Chad Le Clos and Caster Semenya have been making South Africa proud over the past 10 years for their sporting talents, and together, they have travelled the world and brought home various medals for their respective sport categories.

Most Recently, Le Clos has won 3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games while Semenya has won 2 golds and although they do not compete in the same disciplines, the talented South Africans continue to elevate the country’s flag to new heights together.

Le Clos recently tweeted a pic saying how proud he was of his friend, Semenya which has been shared thousands of times.

“10 years together and still killing it, very proud my friend Caster Semenya. Double Champ, Proudly South African, Our Time.”
