Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mduduzi Manana has officially resigned. This is due to the fact that he assaulted two women in Cubana
Mduduzi Manana was at the Fourways Cubana where he was filmed assaulting two women. Mduduzi later admitted to the assault and was granted R 5,000.00 bail.
Manana is facing two counts of assault, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Following his court appearance he was also set to face a disciplinary inquiry. He would have faced suspension or expulsion from the party if found guilty.
Mduduzi has officially resigned from his post as Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training. President Jacob Zuma has accepted the resignation.
