No Hate

South Africa have reacted to the openly homophobic American preacher’s statement after being barred from entering South Africa or the UK.

Minister Gigaba has said that Immigration act of 2002 prohibits admission of foreigners likely to promote hate speech. Steven Anderson and all his associates are prohibited from entering South Africa as LGBTI lives matter and hate speech will not be allowed.

The decision by Gigaba sends a clear message to the world that South Africa will not encourage hate, bigotry and intolerance in our land! He also believes that the SAHR Commission and the Equality Court should take issue with the people who invited the hateful preacher.

Gigaba said the LGBTI community faces daily atrocities for defining their identity. Home Affairs says Anderson won’t be allowed to enter South Africa in terms of the Immigration Act.

South Africans from all walks of life, including the very church he belongs to, all stood together against the hateful preacher from America who has been planning a “soul winning” mission to the country.

Anderson posted a statement on his Facebook to his 3000 followers after hearing the news:

“I have been banned from South Africa AND the United Kingdom. I am not even allowed to have a connecting flight in London.
“And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.” – Acts 18:6
I feel sorry for people who live in South Africa, but thank God we still have a wide open door in Botswana. Stand by for reports of MULTITUDES saved in Botswana, where religious freedom still exists.”

But the post was picked up by thousands of people from around the globe, who seem to not agree with his preaching or his statement. A lot of #ByeFelicia, #No8 & #JustLove hashtags being shared…

Paul Tilly posted: “Hahahha – a “preacher” who can’t preach! The irony!! The mills of God grind slowly but they grind exceedingly fine. Take that as a message from MY God. Not in his name can you spew your vile, evil, bigoted drivel. Now we’ll make sure you can’t visit Botswana either!

Gary Lombard agreed: “Well done SA gov! He can preach hate in his own country, not ours!”

Andrew Monswill stated: “I am so glad you will NEVER get to enjoy the splendour that is our glorious and united country, you are a revolting human, and despite your backward personal beliefs i am so sorry you will not have the pleasure of entering our gorgeous country South Africa, we DO NOT NEED you and your shitty attitude… May god truly look down on you and treat you the way you feel is your duty to treat others, no one needs you and your horrid ideas. good luck on judgement day.”

Cobus Bester added: “I wish you all the best with your travels, Pastor Steven L Anderson. It’s the good grace of God that has saved your soul from entering South Africa; because the good Lord knows that I would have been the first one to punch you in the throat and ensure that your time here would have been nothing but miserable.”

Craig Barrett said: “Thumbs up to them for not allowing a hate-vomiting moron such as yourself to take your poison into their countries. You bring shame on Christians by quoting from books such as Leviticus which any Christian knows have been superseded by the New Testament.

Keep your self righteous pity for yourself. The Christians and others in those countries do just fine without your hate-mongering.”

Henry White posted: “Religious freedom exists in South Africa. Hate speech is not tolerated.”

Martin Van Niekerk added: “You are without love! You have missed the whole point of who Christ is. I for one and overjoyed that my country took a stand against you.”
