Jett is a highly trained search and rescue K9 that fell down a storm drain and is now missing; the community is rallying to help find him.

Johannesburg, South Africa (28 November 2022) – K9 Jett is at the forefront of animal search and rescue in South Africa alongside handler Dianne. They make a formidable pair and their services at Healthy Hounds Missing Pet Search are sourced across the country. Sadly, K9 Jett went missing in a storm drain, and now the community is rallying to find him.
Jett went missing in Kilnerpark, Pretoria after he fell down a storm drain. Dianne was unable to follow and when Jett failed to return, she grew concerned.
It became quickly apparent that Jett had gone missing and was now in need of his own search and rescue team. Calls went out for assistance and the community rallied.
The community have been walking along banks and open drains of Butler Road in Kilnerpark. They will continue the search efforts so if you are able to join or assist in any way, please reach out to the team here or keep an eye on the page for updates about Jett.
