Jason Jacobs De Freitas shared the amazing story of his domestic worker’s dream and how he is working to make it come true with a trip to Australia.

Jason’s domestic worker Dina has had a dream to travel for years. She has worked hard to save money and managed to save up R11,000.00 to go towards her dream trip. She never had a location in mind just the dream to get on an aeroplane and see a different part of the world.

Her opportunity arrived when a past employer got in contact to announce she was travelling to Australia and would sponsor Dina’s visa and accommodation. Jason helped to cover the difference on the ticket with a small loan, as it was around R5,000.00 more than what Dina had.

Jason then posted the story to his Facebook page and asked if friends could help her with some spending money while she is on the trip.

“All is set and she is leaving on the 23rd of November, however, she has no pocket money for this once in a lifetime trip. She has no family that can help and we ask our friends to help make her trip special by donating something as small as R20 as to make this dream a great memory for a truly special lady.”

He set up a ‘Go Get Funding’ page for her so that she could raise some spending money and buy herself something to remember Australia by. If you would like to donate you can do so here.

We cannot wait to hear more about the trip. We will keep you posted.
