An Edenglen High School student went around school filming teachers and students, telling them she was filming things she found beautiful.
Johannesburg, South Africa – Loshaine Munyangama, a grade 10 student at Edenglen High School in Edenvale, Johannesburg came up with a special way to spread love through her school.
She went around filming students and teachers, telling them once the camera was on, that she thought they were beautiful. She was then able to capture their reactions.
“We have very special young people at Edenglen High School. Loshaine Munyangama in Grade 10 put this video together by telling staff and learners that the video is being taken of things she thinks are beautiful. The reactions are priceless.
In a world of self-hate, Loshaine shows that self-love is important and you are not only beautiful because of your looks but what is inside also matters and how you treat others.
Thank you Loshaine”
Many of the teachers and students were taken aback when they heard that Loshaine was filming them because to her, they are beautiful. Most reacted the same way; they beamed a smile and then became overwhelmed and tried to hideaway.
Many didn’t believe Loshaine due to their own self-doubts. Loshaine created the video to show the importance of self-love and seeing ones-self in a good and positive light.
After telling them she found them beautiful, she asked each person what they thought of their own beauty. The students and teachers struggled a little more with that question than when they were complimented by Loshaine.
The self-love video has brightened everyone’s day.
