All hope begins with a dream… South African Sport Photographer of the year is inspiring thousands with his post.

Simphiwe Nkwali, a very talented South African photographer, has just been named SA Sport Photographer of the year and took to Facebook to remind everyone that dreams matter.

This is what he shared:

“This shack is where it all began. This is the shack I used to stay in alone as a student at Swaneville, Krugersdorp. I remember one morning coming back from a overnight shoot and found my negatives lying in the street after a burglary. I cried because I had lost my clients worthy history but I soldiered on. It’s emotions that make me share this with all of you who wished me well and those of you who like my work as a photographer.”

“Not in my wildest dream I had thought that today I would be on nominated and become SA Sport Photographer of the year.”

“I know there are millions who still stay in such conditions and have no hope in life. I want to say to you it all begins with a dream.”

“Loving what you do can take you places and make you achieve things that seemed impossible in life.”

“Finally thanks to those that nominated me and all those who wished me well on achieving this prestigious award. It belongs to to all of you especially the masses of Swaneville. Enkosi”
