Kgomotso Molefe conquered a male-dominated industry and claimed the top prize at the prestigious Best of Belron competition.
South Africa (12 August 2024) – The passionate and driven 28-year-old South African woman, Kgomotso Molefe, proved that women can indeed do just about anything they put their minds to.
Kgomotso not only participated but won big at the Best of Belron competition in Lisbon, Portugal held in June 2024.
At the event, technicians demonstrate their extensive skills in front of hundreds of colleagues, suppliers and partners from across the globe, competing to be recognised as the best of the best.
Through unwavering dedication and a refusal to be limited, Kgomotso claimed the top prize as Best Repair Technician.
According to PG Glass where Kgomotso works, the technician’s exceptional skills and dedication earned her the incredible opportunity to showcase her talents against the world’s best auto glass technicians.
Her journey from a young woman to a global champion inspires us all to chase our dreams no matter how big or far-fetched, regardless of gender or background.
Molefe’s victory is not just a personal accomplishment but a powerful message to the world: with passion, perseverance, and hard work, anything is possible.
