Excited to feed 40 families for his 40th, Kay Angelface Mo has vowed to make his birthday a testament to the power of human compassion.

South African (06 August 2024) – A South African man has made his birthday more than just about gifts, cake and parties. Instead, he has made the day a powerful way to express gratitude for his own life by helping those less fortunate.

Kay Angelface Mo shared a moving post about how he has committed himself to raising funds to feed disadvantaged families in great need.

Last year, on his birthday, Kay managed to feed 25 families. The grocery hampers included a variety of fresh vegetables and meat, which went a long way toward providing warm and wholesome meals to families who really needed them.

“I spent my birthday with my friend Tshego packing those food hampers ourselves and handing them to random households. She and I made a conscious decision not to photograph ourselves with the families to afford them that dignity,” shared Kay who only shared images of the packed hampers before they were distributed.

This year, he is excited to once again transform his birthday into a meaningful event with a positive impact.

Kay shared his hopes to feed 40 families this year, in line with his 40th birthday.

As he embarks on another year of giving, his story inspires us to consider how we can turn our own celebrations into opportunities to uplift those less fortunate.

“Again I choose to celebrate my birthday with the less fortunate,” shared Kay whose selflessness demonstrates a commitment to the well-being of others.
