After months of treatment and serious health complications, Prenisha is asking the public to help her continue her care.
Johannesburg, South Africa (01 October 2026) – Getting through another round of treatment has become a race against time, and she is asking South Africans to help her get there.
Prenisha was diagnosed with bladder cancer in June 2024 and has since undergone extensive treatment while dealing with serious complications, including kidney failure that has required dialysis. Her cancer has since progressed to stage four, and she continues to face significant medical and financial challenges.
Now, she is trying to raise enough money for her next immunotherapy treatment. Her third immunotherapy drip was initially scheduled for August, but as the end of September approached, she was still trying to raise the funds needed to continue.
In a recent update, Prenisha shared that she had undergone another angioplasty and was recovering, while also explaining how difficult the past month had been.
“This treatment has become incredibly important to me.”
Despite the pain and uncertainty, she says she continues to hold on to her faith and hope that a way forward will open up.
The financial burden has become increasingly difficult to manage, with treatment, dialysis, medication, scans, specialist appointments, hospital stays and transport all adding to the costs.
She is also asking people to share her story so that it can reach someone who may be able to assist.
If you are able to support Prenisha’s treatment and help her reach her next immunotherapy session, you can follow the link here.
