In April he won another gold for long-distance running which tipped him to be selected to compete on the international stage.
“He is in a position to be selected to represent South Africa in Spain in an upcoming athletics competition wearing South Africa’s colours,”
“This will be a great achievement for him and the SAPS at large. He’s participating in the marathons and his contribution to the Gauteng SAPS marathon team also plays a vital role to put the police service in a competitive standard along with private teams.” – Captain Elliot Tshivhase, Norwood Police Station Spokesperson.
Captain Miya would make South African’s very proud if he represented the country in Spain. We look forward to hearing more about his successes and will keep you posted.
