A hotel for dogs to keep them safe from New Year’s fireworks?! What a brilliant idea!!!

Copenhagen, Denmark (01 January 2023) – A pet-friendly hotel in Copenhagen has become a safe haven for pet owners and their fur babies on New Year’s Eve as it opens its doors (and 200 rooms) to escape fireworks.

The Nordic Choice Hotels group has been offering the “Happy Dog” New Year’s package for many years, with reservations selling out as early as April each year.

Hugo the Shark – a pup from Denmark who has become popular on TikTok – stayed at the Clarion Hotel (part of the Nordic Choice hotels group) in Copenhagen last night and had the best time.

This hotel is located near Copenhagen Airport, far from the city’s fireworks. They also have soundproofed windows with blackout curtains to keep noise and light out so that the pups can have a New Year’s without stress, plus they offer room service to keep their owners happy too.
