Craig View Vet’s Dr Clifford Bull, known for the incredible way he shows up for all animals, has just donned the cap and gown!
Johannesburg, South Africa (19 December 2025) – Twenty years after finishing his initial studies, the Craig View Veterinary Clinic’s much-loved founder enrolled back into university and has now completed his honours degree through the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Veterinary Science in Onderstepoort.
When we say he’s a legend, we mean it.
Dr Bull is the vet who makes a plan. His ingenuity recently gave an injured tortoise its new wheels. His hand in Jozi’s wildlife cases has been immense, and he’s a giver. Charity holds a spot in Dr Bull’s big heart, with the clinic in years past having launched initiatives that directly benefited multiple charities.
Beyond that, Dr Bull is big on education and raising awareness. Everyone who passes through clinic doors learns something new. It’s a trait he shares with his dedicated, growing veterinary team.
Going back to ‘school’ and donning the cap and gown is worth a clap. The expertise and skills that come along with the title will benefit many animals to come.
“It was a humbling experience to go back to university, 20 years after graduating. But between his busy schedule, running Craig View, wildlife work, and managing his stores and family life, Dr Bull quietly enrolled for his honors degree. We are immensely proud to announce that he has now received his honours degree.

It brings such joy and nostalgia reading about Dr Bull’s achievements. He walked a journey with my late father and his beloved dogs, especially Lucy, and remembering the love he shared for animals with my Dad, is so special.
