A video of a Cape Town man taking his family’s helper for her very first driving lesson is making headlines — and for all the right reasons.
Cape Town, South Africa – Crocs off, seat belt on and a dog in the back… Caroline is ready for her first driving lesson!
Joshua Rubin, posted the video to his Facebook showing how he had taken Caroline, his family’s helper, on her very first driving lesson.
We can all certainly remember the first time we got behind a wheel but was it as funny as this? There is literally screaming in the first 10 seconds!
Caroline can be seen in quite a nervous state (she talks about wanting to poop herself) and can be seen being directed around Cape Town by Joshua.
It’s clear that Joshua and Caroline have an incredible relationship, and apparently, this is the first in a series of videos that he will release. Looking forward to the next ones!
Social media users have not stopped commenting on the video since it went viral:
Nyameko Mateke said: “OMG this is the best thing i have seen”
Michelle Pearce-Nakatani added: “I need more videos of the two of you!”
Leslie-Anne Brindle commented: “Like a penguin??? That made my day.”
Raeesah Karriem said: “how I felt when you started driving. I laughed so much I forgot how many times I nearly died”
Jonty Warner posted: “I love Caroline. Good job Josh well done bud. This experience must’ve been life changing and so much fun (with a side order of worry haha) Amazing.”
Watch the hilarious video below (but be warned, there’s some strong language):
