Claire Roadley shared a collection of photos showing how the Elephants and Hyena at the Lalibela Big 5 Game Reserve got involved in the recent renovations.
The Lalibela Big 5 Game Reserve is currently undergoing some renovations on the game lodge as well as building a new luxury villa. The lodge is located in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, close to Port Elizabeth and Addo.
Lalibela is approximately 22,000 acres and home to the Big 5 as well as other predators like cheetah, hyena, jackal & lynx. They are blessed with vast African plains and so they have multitudes of zebra, giraffe, warthog, impala, wildebeest, blesbuck and various other antelope species.
The images captured are pretty great especially the one of the curious elephant peeking into the building site (see above) to obviously give his opinion on the build.
The Hyena also inspected the building site during the night shortly after they lay the cement. This meant they left their paw prints imprinted into the pathways around the area. A feature that will surely last a lifetime or two.
