Vlogger Drew Binsky recently visited Johannesburg and filmed his entire experience. He created a video listing the 10 ways to know you are in South Africa and we loved his selections!
Drew Binsky has always wanted to travel to South Africa and thankfully, he finally has. He sadly only visited Johannesburg but managed to capture the majority of South African culture in his trip.
Drew created a video to share the 10 things he noticed and experienced while in South Africa. He listed them and shared some great stuff with the rest of the world!
These are the 10 things he experienced:
- Rusks
- Special Lingo
- Wimpy
- Biltong
- Wild Animals
- Braai (which he pronounced correctly)
- Cricket and Rugby
- Robots
- Lip Ice
- Safety
Drew goes into detail on each thing and claims that Biltong is addictive and much better than the American beef jerky. He also thinks that Wimpy chips are really wimpy, which most South Africans will agree with.
“In my latest video, find out 10 things that represent South African culture (in my humble opinion!)
P.S. I am thrilled to FINALLY be visiting South Africa, a country that was high on my bucket list for quite some time. And it’s also nice to explore a big city here (Joburg) as opposed to being in the bush scouting out at animals (which was AMAZING as well, but as you know, I am a city-guy at heart!)”
Watch the video below. Do you think Drew got all the best bits of Johannesburg?
