Learners from Chelsea Preparatory School step into the role of interviewers, putting Sharks players through a fun Q&A session.
Durban, South Africa (23 April 2026)- Rugby players being put on the spot by kids that instantly changes the game.
At Sharks training, things took a lighter turn as learners from Chelsea Preparatory School stepped in. Not as fans, but as interviewers.
And they came prepared, armed with confidence and with no fear of asking “real” questions. The learners flipped the script putting players like Trevor Nyakane and Jordan Hendrikse in the hot seat.
With Trevor, the conversation quickly turned into a mix of rugby knowledge and playful interrogation. From asking about the toughest teams he’s faced (the All Blacks and Crusaders getting a mention) to casually bringing up past injuries and match results, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a standard Q&A.
At one point, the learner confidently broke down front-row dynamics, even discussing the difference between hookers and tightheads. You can tell by Trevor’s face that he was really impressed.

Over to Jordan, the vibe shifted slightly. Between being asked to tell a joke and sharing his love for coffee and the beach, he found himself navigating a mix of serious and not-so-serious questions. When asked about travel, he kept it local at heart before eventually settling on Italy for the food.
By the end of it, it was hard to tell who was enjoying it more, the players or the kids asking the questions.
