Juliette Pauling shared her 100th episode of the Andersons at the start of April to celebrate one year of life in lockdown.

Cape Town, South Africa (21 April 2021) – We all made our way through the various lockdowns at our own pace. Some followed the trends like baking up a storm or joining Tik Tok; others binge-watched old series, many cleaned the house or reached their body goals, and a few spent their time trolling the internet, spying on the neighbours or being triggered by everything.

Juliette Pauling, an actress in Cape Town, turned her lockdown into a creative experience and launched an original series featuring herself as a family of three living through the lockdown. Juliette has embodied three main characters, Cheryl aka Chezza – an “I-actually-just-can’t” mom and her two children Sasha – the snacking queen and Dwayne – just one of the boys!

Although the series focused on how the family are surviving the lockdown, it also featured all the trends of the times, from baking banana bread, but only using carrots and TikTok videos, to getting healthy, social media challenges and combatting boredom.

Apart from the three main characters, Juliette also played the roles of Gran, Bren – Chezza’s fake-British sister, Damo – Dwayne’s best bru and a handful of other quick feature characters too.

Many fans have been following the series since the start of lockdown, and every episode has been funnier than the last! Juliette started off with a small following, but the series earned her a large number of fans over the last year. The actress has people begging for more every day; we can’t get enough either!
