Every few months we share a pretty cool dance video, the setting is always the same studio, the Millennium Dance Complex in LA, but sometimes the choreographer is different. In the past we have shared the sexy ‘Shape of You‘ video, the epic ‘Move Your Body‘ video and the heartbreaking ‘I don’t want to live forever‘ video.
We think we may have just found the best one of all time! Phil Wright choreographed the group of dancers to John Legends “You & I”. He used the opportunity of being in front of the camera to completely surprise his girlfriend with a marriage proposal.
The couple come onto the video at around the 3 minute mark. Phil Wright and his girlfriend Ashley Liai were performing the choreographed piece. At one point Ashley spins away from Phil, at which point he reaches into his pocket and gets down on one knee while she is turning back to look at him.
Knowing this was not part of the routine she immediately bursts into tears and accepts his proposal. The couple embrace and remain connected for sometime while the class erupts into excitement around them.
Once the couple have settled Phil places the ring on Ashley’s finger and it becomes official!
This is one of the best surprise proposals we have ever seen… Ever!
