The Drakensberg Boys Choir have released another proudly South African hit, this time in honour of the Springboks; take a listen to their version of ‘Great Heart’.

Drakensberg, South Africa (15 September 2023) – As an inspiration and cheer for the Springboks, the Drakensberg Boys Choir have released Johnny Clegg and Savuka’s ‘Great Heart’. The rendition is bringing all the “gees” (Afrikaans for pride) and we cannot wait to see how our Bokke Bokke play this weekend!

The Drakensberg Boys Choir, renowned for their ethereal harmonies and captivating performances, has once again struck inspiration for South Africa and hopefully our team at the Rugby World Cup too!

Set against the backdrop of the breathtaking mountains in the Drakensberg, the music video captures the young men on the rugby field, singing for the Springboks.

The song is enough to get the toes tapping, the booty shaking and a full groove going if you let it take you there.

As the video has only just been released, it isn’t going viral just yet, but we have faith fans will love it as much as us – so let’s get it there. Hopefully the Boks get to see it too before taking to the field this weekend.

The choir ends off the song with a cheer for the boks and we love it! Take a listen below.
