The search for James who left his coffee order behind continues. Things are getting serious. Investigations have launched, and Finn has literally taken to the skies.

Cape Town, South Africa (04 November 2025) – James, is that you? Listen.

If you’re reading this, you need to know the epic lengths that Finn has gone through to find you.

When you left without your coffee order from Weirdough Bakery in July, a chain of events set off. They have spanned streets, beaches, and now even the sky. Official investigations have been launched, and the James Investigation Bureau (J.I.B.) are onto you.

Where are you? Your coffee is borderline cold at this point.

And why are you hiding? Surely you’ve heard Finn’s desperate calls, Jaaaames.

Could you have given it all up for matcha? We know it’s a thing in Cape Town. Even though it arguably tastes like grass. (Sorry matcha friends).

But that’s not your thing, right?

Do you know that Finn has literally gone to new heights to find you? When he couldn’t locate you on land, he took to the skies. With your coffee order in hand.

The official statement released by Weirdough Bakery reads:

“From beaches to valleys, penguins to dassies, Finn has searched every corner of the Cape. When there was no more land left to explore, there was only one direction left to go: up. With Francois from [Safari Paragliding] he took to the skies over Cape Town in one last, gravity-defying attempt to find James. He’s soared past mountain peaks, shouted James’s name into the wind, and still came down empty-handed…”

You’re actually playing kind of hard-to-get. Did you know that James? Please.

The situation is dire and if you don’t show up soon, Finn is going to take next steps. He’s searched the land. He’s searched the air. Next is the sea? Will you show face there or what?

If you’re not already heavily invested in the Cape Town bakery’s search for James, none of this is going to make any sense. Here’s your prescribed reading (chapters one, two and three).
