“Do you travel quite often… no, we LekkeSlaap a lot.”

South Africa (12 January 2023) – Meet George, Clarens, Umhlanga, Groblersdal, Tietiesbaai, Wakkerstroom, Piet Retief, Bela, Bela and Springbok in a new hilarious Afrikaans advert that is going viral.

The advert created by “LekkeSlaap” has garnered over 6,4 million views in just 12 days!

LekkeSlaap is a proudly South African version of Airbnb (very similar) where users can find and book accommodation online in South Africa. It enables users to find accommodation based on the province, city, or tourist destination they want to visit.

The advert features a family that have just moved into the neighbourhood and all the kids are named after towns that the couple have “visited”. It is properly funny and the end will leave you in stitches. Verneukpan. LOL.

The entire ad is in Afrikaans but luckily it has English subtitles too.
