lip sync

The Norfolk Police Department received a challenge they couldn’t ignore… They were challenged to a lip sync battle and did it all in one single take.

Two weeks ago the Corinth police department in Texas was challenged to a lip sync battle, they obliged and did a Miley Cyrus song. The video received over 11 million views and prompted the celeb to call the station and thank them for choosing her song. The Corinth PD’s then challenged the Norfolk Police Department in Virginia to join the fun.

Norfolk PD’s were all very happy to join the fun and decided to do Bruno Mars, Uptown Funk. They even got the local fire department to join in.

The reason this is a feel-good story, it that it is nice to see the people in charge of protecting and serving, taking a quick break to have some fun. There are quite a few different battles being posted online and people cannot get enough of the men and women in blue.

The Norfolk officers did their entire video in one smooth take, making it the coolest one by far, so far! Take a look at their video and a few more below. We think the police dog from the K9 unit stole the show with his “Who let the dogs out?” rendition.
