CV song

Page Kemna was tired of sending her CV to companies without ever hearing back so she created a unique way to get their attention on job applications.

Page Kemna was tired of never hearing back from companies after she applied for a job. She had applied for 14 different jobs in the advertising and marketing sector and just didn’t get any acknowledgement. Fed up, she wrote a song about why people should employ her.

Page feels that any work place that would be reluctant to hire someone based on such an unusual application wouldn’t be the kind of place where she would want to work at anyway. Her unique tactics paid off and she was offered a job.

“I wanted them to know who I was outside of just paper so I decided to sing them a little song to show them I could go the extra mile,”

She posted the video on LinkedIn and it went viral. Not only were her lyrics brilliant but her piano skills and voice are incredible! Take a look at her CV below.

“HEY EVERYONE! Feeling down about the job search? Me too. All I have been doing is tweaking my resumes and cover letters for employers that likely WON’T EVEN GLANCE AT THEM for more than like 30 seconds. And trust me, I totally get it.

Resumes are remarkably dull. But, I am not. So, let me liven things up just a little bit.”
