BUT when I came down the stairs, my dogs were completely embarrassed. Have you ever seen an embarrassed dog? Well that’s the way they looked at me.
California, USA – Sharon Dilworth may be a South African living in California, but she certainly hasn’t lost her sense of South African humour!
Dilworth is known for making comedy skits in Afrikaans, with lots of swear-words.
The comedic South African uploaded a hilarious video on Friday, the 8th of February 2019, just a day after the State of the Nation Address (SONA) unpacking why anyone would dress the way “that woman” dressed at the event.
The unknown woman went viral after being spotted in the SONA audience.
Dilworth’s video (which is mostly in Afrikaans and does contains swear-words) has been viewed over 100 000 times and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
Watch the hilarious video below:
We have tried to translate the video as best as we can:
“You guys, I decided to showcase my South African roots today… after I finished with work.
And I think it’s actually nice. I think I will land up in every newspaper and every news broadcast with this outfit because this is what we are truly made of! You know, I believe we can’t be ashamed of our heritage.
BUT when I came down the stairs, my dogs were completely embarrassed. Have you ever seen an embarrassed dog? Well that’s the way they looked at me.
They must have been asking… “what the efff are you doing”?
And that’s my question today: How did you think that it is alright to step outside of the house looking like that today? Who told you that this look, looks good? Unless you paid someone to look that way… then that person needs to be fired, please!”
