The SPAR Women’s Challenge in Gqeberha had thousands of runners… but it was one cheeky performer who stole the spotlight (and a few hearts).
Gqeberha, South Africa (03 November 2025) – There’s a special kind of energy that can turn a crowd of tired runners into a dancing, laughing, phone-waving party… and this weekend, that energy had a name: Gino Fabbri.
The Gqeberha funnyman went viral after pulling off two unforgettable performances at the SPAR Women’s Challenge 2025. One behind a drum kit and one featuring a bum wiggle that might just go down in South African internet history.
It started with a beat. Gino sat behind his drum kit, ready to perform, and within seconds the atmosphere shifted. The rhythm caught everyone off guard. An irresistible mix of amapiano and high-energy joy that spread through the crowd like electricity.
When the video hit social media, people couldn’t get enough.
“Look at you using your gifts to unite people through music! So much love and respect ❤️👊” wrote one user.
Another added, “Love this! You legend. I’m out of breath though. Shjoe!!! What a workout 🥵🥁🎶🎵.”
Someone else simply said, “This is beautiful ❤️🔥🔥.”
While another summed it up perfectly: “We had so much fun 😁 You are a whole mood, Gino Fabbri! That drum mix was fantastic — I danced throughout.”
And then, just when everyone thought it couldn’t get better, Gino changed gears completely.
Microphone in hand, he launched into “I’m Sexy and I Know It,” singing, dancing, and, let’s be honest, wiggling like his life depended on it. The crowd absolutely lost it. People screamed, laughed, filmed and cheered him on like he was headlining a concert.
The comments section became a comedy show of its own.
“Dude got some moves 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,” one person wrote.
Another added, “This makes me laugh for the first time today.”
Someone else couldn’t help asking, “How can you wiggle with that short on, it’s too tight, man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈.”
“The shorts and the wiggle did it for me 😂😂😂 come to Dbn bro… you’re hilarious!”
Two performances. Two viral videos. One city completely united in laughter.
The SPAR Women’s Challenge has always been about more than just running. It’s about celebrating women, community, movement and joy. And this year, thanks to Gino, it became a reminder of what happens when music, humour and heart collide in the best possible way.
